What the earth zoom template does
The earth zoom out effect starts on your place and pulls back in one continuous move: the house shrinks into the street, the street into the neighborhood, then clouds pass and the whole planet appears. It is a classic way to say "this is where it happened".
Each run makes one 5-second 720p video with ByteDance Seedance 1.0 Pro image-to-video. Everything beyond your photo is generated, so the wider views are illustrative rather than real maps.
Photos that work best
Top-down drone shots and high aerial views work best, because the zoom continues the same angle. Rooftops, gardens, beaches, harbors, stadiums and campus quads all look good. Ground-level photos can work, but the move is less convincing.
Do not use photos that reveal someone else's private address or anything you are not allowed to share. Photos of people are not supported by this template.
Ideas to try
Open a travel vlog, announce a move to a new home, reveal a venue for an event or show where your business is based. Edit the prompt to change the ending: "stops at the view of the whole country", "zooms out at night with city lights" or "ends on the moon looking back at Earth".
What to expect
Five seconds is a fast journey, so the middle steps can blur together, and the geography shown is not your real surroundings. If a generation fails or is blocked by our content checks, its credits come back automatically.
