What the hydraulic press template does
Hydraulic press videos are a long-running internet favorite: something gets slowly squashed under a giant steel plate. This template recreates that with any object from your photo. A press head drops into the frame and flattens your object, with parts popping out as it crushes.
Each run makes one 5-second 720p video using ByteDance Seedance 1.0 Pro image-to-video.
Photos that work best
Use one object on a table, bench or floor, photographed from the front or slightly above, with empty space above it so the press has room to come down. Toys, fruit, cans, gadgets and sneakers all make satisfying crushes.
Photos of people or animals are not supported. Only crush things in pictures, never test this in real life.
Ideas to try
Crush a product for a "how tough is it?" teaser, flatten a rival team's mascot toy, or squash a pile of candy. Edit the prompt to change the drama: "crushes it slowly with sparks", "the object bounces back" or "it turns out to be full of confetti".
What to expect
The press design and the way the object breaks are generated, so each run looks a little different. Very small objects in a wide shot can be hard to see; crop closer. If a generation fails or is blocked by our content checks, its credits come back automatically.
