What the pet dance template does

The pet dance template turns a still photo of your dog or cat into a short clip where it bounces from side to side and waves its front paws, as if it is dancing to a song. You add the music yourself when you post, so the same clip works with whatever sound is trending.

Each run makes one 5-second video at 720p with ByteDance Seedance 1.0 Pro image-to-video. The background and lighting come from your photo, so it still looks like your garden or your living room.

Pet photos that work best

Pick a photo where your pet's whole body is visible, with its paws in the frame and some space around it. Standing, sitting up or begging poses give the model more to work with than a pet curled up asleep.

Good light and a simple background help. One pet per photo works best; with two animals the motion can get mixed up. Photos with people in them are not supported by this template, so crop people out first.

Make it your own

The prompt is already written for a cheerful dance. Change it to fit your pet: "spins around in a circle", "hops from paw to paw" or "nods its head to the beat". Keep the instruction to keep the full body in frame so paws are not cut off.

Post the original photo first and the dance second, or pair the clip with a trending sound. Vertical photos give vertical videos that fit TikTok, Reels and Shorts without cropping.

What to expect

Animals do not have human joints, so the dance looks like happy bouncing and paw-waving rather than choreography. Fluffy or dark pets on dark backgrounds can come out softer. If a generation fails or is blocked by our content checks, its credits come back automatically.
