What the inflate effect does
The inflate template uses cartoon physics: your pet or object swells into a perfectly round balloon shape, with little legs or parts sticking out, then drifts up off the ground. It is the same joke that made inflate videos spread on TikTok, applied to your own photo.
Each run makes one 5-second 720p video with ByteDance Seedance 1.0 Pro image-to-video. It is a visual effect only; no real animal is harmed or changed.
Photos that work best
Fluffy pets, round toys, food and gadgets all inflate well. Show the whole subject with space above it so it has somewhere to float. A simple floor or table background keeps the shape easy to read.
Photos of people are not supported by this template.
Ideas to try
Inflate your dog for a birthday post, puff up a product to announce a "big" sale, or turn a cupcake into a floating balloon. Edit the prompt: "inflates and pops into confetti", "inflates slowly and bounces on the floor" or "floats out of the window".
What to expect
Some runs inflate only part of the subject or keep it on the ground. A clear full-body photo and a second run usually fix it. If a generation fails or is blocked by our content checks, its credits come back automatically.
