What the it's cake template does
The "is it cake?" trend shows something ordinary, like a shoe, a handbag or a toy, then a knife cuts into it and it turns out to be cake. This template recreates the reveal from your photo: a kitchen knife comes in, slices the object and shows sponge layers and cream.

Photos that work best
Choose one object with a clear shape on a table, counter or cutting board: sneakers, mugs, fruit, books, toys or houseplants. Leave space around it so the knife has room. Bright, even light makes the cake layers look more appetizing.
Photos of people or pets are not supported by this template.

Bakers can tease a custom cake order, shops can turn a product into a playful post, and anyone can fool their friends with a "real or cake?" clip. Edit the prompt to change the filling: "chocolate cake with ganache", "rainbow sponge" or "red velvet with cream cheese".
What to expect
Sometimes the model shows the cake as a slice next to the object instead of inside it, or keeps more of the original material.
